Gym Floor

On May 8, 2009, the seniors at Marion C Early High School were all excited for graduation day. As they arrived at school to take the bus to their Senior Breakfast, they were ushered into the school hallways where they joined the rest of the students in a "duck and cover" while they waited out the tornado force straight line winds that tore through the town. When it was all over, the field house where they were scheduled to graduate that evening, had holes in the roof and inches of water covering the floor. Unfortunately, graduation had to be rescheduled and the gym floor and roof would have to be replaced. The booster club came up with an amazing idea for the floor. They decided to sell pieces of the old floor as souvenirs, as well as offer personalization for those who would like it. They are going to auction off large pieces representing various teams that played on the floor. Here are a couple of examples of the boards.

Upcycle old windows!

BEFORE

AFTER

I had a custom order for a gal in Arkansas. She had some old windows that she wanted to turn into home decorations. She sent me a picture of one of the finished windows. It turned out great! She did a couple more for her parents and inlaws. I thought I'd share a photo that she sent me. Do you have any old items that could be upcycled into some amazing home decor? I'd love to help you with your vinyl needs!
This was a special order for a customer in Illinois. He was kind enough to send me a picture of the final product. He was happy with the outcome. I think it turned out great! Once again, a simple touch adds a big impact.

Easter Fun

I added this cute touch to a tin pail for my 1 year old grandson. It doesn't take much to add a little personality and make it more personal!

Fun Ideas

I thought I'd share a couple of fun ideas for using vinyl. You can use vinyl on SO many different things and dress up the ordinary and make it EXTRAORDINARY!

Custom Orders

I thought I would share some of the recent custom orders I've done. These vases were done by Tisa Jackson. A talented crafter with a shop on Etsy. She requested a decal with her shop name to put on glass vases. This is what I came up with. They turned out great I think. We used a metallic silver for the vinyl and I think they turned out great. Check out Tisa's Etsy shop. She has some really cute items for sale including cards and mini clip board kits to use as birthday party crafts. Her shop http://www.tisascreations.etsy.com/

This window frame was done by a wonderfully talented woman in Canada. She wanted some quotes done for a couple of the projects she was working on. She also has a shop on Etsy. http://www.sempernova.etsy.com/ Here's what she has to say about her shop: " We rescue and restyle furniture and home decor that would otherwise be left for the land fill. Here you will see everything from unique window frames, interesting tables, chairs and stools and pretty much anything else we can salvage and reinvent into a beautiful new version of its original self." While Canada may be too far for you to go - check out her shop. You just might get some great ideas!

This woman wanted some vinyl done for her display backdrop. We worked up the flowers and lettering for her. It turned out great. http://www.thepolkadotdaisy.com/

Bright yellow to jazz up your windshield on your bright yellow car!!! She was very pleased with the way it turned out.

Another satisfied customer with the decal for his "Hog". This was a double layer decal. It looks great on the bike and the customer was very pleased with the results.
